As new students are in your classes and taking your Google Forms quizzes, you probably don't want the old data combined with the new data. So, the best way is to remove all the old responses. But don't start just deleting just yet. Follow these steps:
1. In your Google Form, click on the "Responses" tab at the top.
2. Go to your Responses spreadsheet. You will need to unlink the form. Don't be scared.....this will work, I promise! You are just disconnecting the responses from the spreadsheet.
3. Now that the spreadsheet of all your old data is disconnected from the form, you can delete it, or save it under a new name (such as 2014-15 data). |
4. Almost done. You need to have a new spreadsheet for the data to go. Go back to the form and select "Choose response destination."
5. This will let you put the form into a new spreadsheet. NOTE: You could also create a new sheet in your old form, if you choose. This is helpful if it is a quiz you give more than once a year with the same students. |
