I love the Kindle App for my iPad. There are so many options for highlighting, commenting, etc. After I finished reading a book that I added comments and highlights to, I wanted a place to view them all at once. You cannot do this on the app. After some searching, I found that it can be done! By going to kindle.amazon.com, you can login and access your highlights and comments on one page!

The end of a YouTube video can sometimes make video suggestions that contains some inappropriate content for younger viewers. If you like to show educational YouTube videos to your classes, but don't like the ads, check out ViewPure (www.viewpure.com). You just enter the YouTube URL and ViewPure will remove all comments, ads, related videos, or other distractions so you no longer need to hit the "stop" button in a frenzied panic.
Sometimes the best way to share a video with students on a Learning Management System (Edmodo, My Big Campus, Canvas, Schoology, etc.) is to first download the video. One way to do this is by using SaveFrom.net. As long as the video has a URL, you just copy and paste it into savefrom.net. It will download to your computer, allowing easy transfer to Google Drive, or an LMS. Just be sure to give credit where credit is due!
Anyone who is reading this and has 6+ tabs opened at once, this post is especially for you! On a daily basis, I found myself opening up (and logging into) the same websites......or I would just never close them for fear of having to waste precious time to log in again. I found a new trick that saved me so much time each day. Try pinning a tab. Just right-click on the tab that you use frequently. For me, it was my Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar. Select "Pin Tab" and you're done! Pinning a tab shrinks it, moves it to the far left, and locks it in place.
After you are done pinning the tabs, you probably want them to always open, even if you quit the Chrome Browser or shut down your computer. This is an easy setting. Go to Chrome>Preferences.
